Tech Tour to Israel
We had the pleasure of taking part in the Innovation Ecosystem Tech Tour for female business leaders in Polish-Israeli relations
Marvellous women in an marvelous country
Between the days of the 25th and the 30th of March, we had the pleasure of taking part in the Innovation Ecosystem Tech Tour for female business leaders in Polish-Israeli relations. The initiative originated as a continuation of a mentor program for Polish businesswomen organised by Vital Voices Polish Chapter, which took place in the fall of 2016. The largest and most influential business leaders in Poland took part in this program (including Deloitte, Coca-Cola, PKO S.A., mBank, BZ WBK Santander Group, Microsoft, Agora, Orange, and Fiserv, among others), taking on the role of mentors for a group of women gaining business experience in the most vital of industries, especially those related to new technologies, management, and IT (mentees from companies such as Johnson&Johnson, General Electrics, T-Mobile, Alior Bank, and Burda).
The country is immediately associated with innovation, a fact which has become one of the country’s greatest assets.
Closing the program, it quickly became evident that Israel is a natural hub of knowledge in terms of innovation, new technology, and startups, as evidenced by the fact that most participants in the program wished to expand their knowledge of these areas via Israel, truly a melding of minds in this subject matter.
The program was joined by the Israeli Embassy in Poland, which worked out the Tech Tour program, organising informative and fulfilling meetings with tech, as well as visits to the most dynamic and interesting companies of the modern day world, in cooperation with ELNET POLAND, which helped bring about and supported the program
